Aquatic Specialty Programs

From water sports, to swim clubs, to classes geared towards rehabilitation, Y aquatic specialty programs bring swimmers together for organized activities in the water!

Add a little variety to your fitness routine! Being in the water adds a whole new dynamic to your workout.

The resistance of the water strengthens muscles, yet your body weight is supported by the water’s buoyancy. This means you reduce the impact on your joints as you improve your cardiovascular fitness.

Drop in classes like Aqua Baby & Me, Aqua Combo, and Aqua Arthritis are all included in your Y membership (two registered classes are also included with each Y membership/session). Non Y members can access the pool by purchasing a day pass.

To find out more information on registered and drop-in aquatics programs available at your local Y, view our schedules.

Lane Swim is for those who want to swim continuous lengths at their own pace. Lane swimming provides great cardiovascular exercise and improved muscle strength without stressing your joints.

Pool access is included in your Y membership. Non Y members can access the pool by purchasing a day pass.

Just add water for a fun way to be active together!
