Busing to camp is part of the experience! We’re pleased to offer campers daily bus transportation to and from Camp Otonabee at an additional cost per child, per week. Select the appropriate route when completing the registration process.
- For safety reasons, we ask that your child remains on the same bus route throughout their week at camp.
- Our bus times are approximate. We try our best to adhere to schedule times, however unexpected delays (e.g. traffic) may alter arrival times. Thank you for your patience.
- All families should arrive at the bus stop 5-10 mins early to allow our buses to remain on schedule for both drop off and pick up.
- All families are required to provide a legal piece of photo ID whichmatches their camper’s approved pickup name when picking up a child from the bus every afternoon.
- All buses aim to arrive at camp for 9AM and depart camp at 4PM.
- All buses wait for a 10-minute grace period at each stop to ensure they don’t miss any campers. If you know your child will not be on the bus, please tell your bus monitor or contact the camp office by email at day.camps@ymcaottawa.ca to make us aware as a courtesy to other campers.
