Dance Party
Get ready to dance, move, and celebrate! Our energetic Y party host will keep the music going and the fun flowing as kids dance, play, and show off their best moves. The first hour is all about the dance party, with upbeat music, fun movement activities, and plenty of opportunities for kids to get active and have a blast. Then, the celebration continues in our private party room with time for food, cake, games, crafts, and presents. Clarence-Rockland Y only.

Science Party
Get ready to experiment, explore, and discover! Our Mad Scientist Party Host will lead kids through exciting science experiments filled with fun, surprises, and plenty of “wow” moments. Each party includes a demonstration-based experiment to amaze and spark curiosity, plus a hands-on activity where kids can work together, experiment, and put their science skills to the test. It’s the perfect mix of discovery, participation, and birthday fun! Taggart Family Y only.

Anyone not actively participating in the activity block are not included in the participant count.
If you are inviting more children, please speak with the Child and Youth Program Supervisor as soon as possible regarding the additional cost. There is an additional cost of $10 per child up to 25 children.
For pool parties, please consult the Child pool access policy (ages 0Y-11Y) located on the Facility Access and Etiquette page.
All birthday party guests will be required to sign in on arrival.
Parents/adults who are staying in the building are required to show their photo ID to our Membership Desk staff and let us know they are here for a birthday party.
- Dance Party (Clarence-Rockland Y only): You will have exclusive use of the studio.
- Kids Zone Party (Taggart Family Y only): You will have exclusive use of the Kid Zone play space.
- Pool Party: The pool will have a roped off area for the use of the party.
- Science Party (Taggart Family Y only): You will have exclusive use of the studio.
- Sports Party: You will have exclusive use of the gym.
- You are responsible for providing food, beverages, cake, candles and a lighter, decorations, tablecloths, cutlery, plates and cups. Food can be ordered for delivery to the Front Desk of the Y. We are a peanut aware facility. We encourage food to be peanut-free.
- To help our staff maintain a clean and welcoming environment, we kindly ask that you use sticky tack instead of tape for decorations and avoid bringing confetti.
- You may arrive 30 minutes early to set up decorations and prepare the party room.
- Please advise children to wear appropriate clothing for activity spaces. Gym and Kid Zone Party children should be ready to active in comfortable clothing and footwear. Please be aware socks are required to in Kid Zone. For pool parties we encourage children to come wearing proper swim attire (disposable and cloth diapers are not permitted)
- Tables and chairs are provided by the Y. We also take care of cleanup.
Parents are responsible for leaving with all the items they brought in. Staff will be there to assist with clean up.
