Get ready to move, groove, and PARTY! Our energetic Y party host will keep the music pumping and the good vibes going as kids dance, play, and show off their best moves. The first hour is packed with upbeat music, fun movement activities, silly dance challenges, and lots of chances to get moving and have a blast. Clarence-Rockland Y only.
Kids Zone Party
Climb, slide, jump, and explore! Kids will have a blast in our exciting Kids Zone, where they can burn off energy, take on new adventures, and play to their heart’s content. It’s one action-packed hour of climbing, sliding, exploring, and FUN! Taggart Family Y only.

From amazing demonstrations to hands-on activities, kids can work together, test things out, and unleash their inner scientist. Sports Party
Ready, set, PLAY! Kids will run, jump, move, and compete in an action-packed hour of sports, games, and high-energy activities in our spacious gym. With plenty of opportunities to get active, have fun, and show off their skills, it’s the perfect party for kids who love to PLAY!

Booking Changes:
- If your plans change, rebooking for a future date is preferred and can be arranged at no additional charge.
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or reschedule your party.
- We offer a full refund with 30 days’ notice.

Anyone not actively participating in the activity block are not included in the participant count.
If you are inviting more children, please speak with the Child and Youth Program Supervisor as soon as possible regarding the additional cost. There is an additional cost of $15 per child up to 25 children.
For pool parties, please consult the Child pool access policy (ages 0Y-11Y) located on the Facility Access and Etiquette page.
All birthday party guests will be required to sign in on arrival.
Parents/adults who are staying in the building are required to show their photo ID to our Membership Desk staff and let us know they are here for a birthday party.
- Dance Party (Clarence-Rockland Y only): You will have exclusive use of the studio.
- Kids Zone Party (Taggart Family Y only): You will have exclusive use of the Kid Zone play space.
- Pool Party: The pool will have a roped off area for the use of the party.
- Science Party (Taggart Family Y only): You will have exclusive use of the studio.
- Sports Party: You will have exclusive use of the gym.
- What to Bring: You are responsible for providing food, beverages, cake, candles, a lighter, decorations, tablecloths, cutlery, plates, and cups. Food can be ordered for delivery to the Y Front Desk. We are a peanut-aware facility and encourage all food to be peanut-free.
- Decorations: To help us keep our spaces clean and welcoming, please use sticky tack instead of tape when hanging decorations and avoid bringing confetti.
- Setup: You’re welcome to arrive 30 minutes before your party to decorate and get the party room ready for your guests.
- What to Wear: Please have children wear comfortable, activity-appropriate clothing and footwear. For Dance, Kids Zone, and Sports parties, children should be dressed and ready to move and play. Socks are required in the Kids Zone. For Science parties, please dress for fun and be prepared to get a little messy! For Pool parties, children should arrive in appropriate swim attire. Disposable and cloth diapers are not permitted in the pool.
- Tables, Chairs & Cleanup: The Y provides tables and chairs. Parents are responsible for leaving with all the items they brought in. Staff will be there to assist with cleanup.
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring outside entertainment to make your celebration even more special. Please let your party coordinator know who will be attending and when they are expected to arrive so we can help ensure a smooth and fun experience for everyone.
