- Go to our CampBrain registration portal to login and set up your account.
- Create your CampBrain account. (We’ve changed our registration software. You are required to create a brand new account with us.)
- Create camper profiles for each of the campers you’d like to register.
- Select the camps and add-ons you wish to register your camper(s) for. You will have 30 minutes to complete the registration from this point onward.
- Complete all person forms and medical forms for each camper.
- Select the payment option that works best for your family. Fees for camp can be paid by Visa, Mastercard, or Visa/Mastercard Debit.
- Review your camp selections and enter your credit card details. Click Submit.
- If your registration was submitted and accepted, a confirmation screen will appear and you will receive a confirmation email right away. (If your registration says it is processing, you are registered for the camp. The system is just taking some time to think. Return to the page later that day, and you will see the registered icon appear.)
- Congratulations – You are now registered for camp this summer!
- Now, under Camper Paperwork, upload a photo of your camper.
Financial Assistance
At the Y, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience camp. Thanks to the generous support of donors and various fundraising initiatives year-round, we are able to provide financial assistance for families who otherwise could not afford the experience for their children.

Y Members are individuals who pay a monthly fee for a YMCA membership, giving them access to the health, fitness and aquatics facilities. Y members receive a 10% discount on all YMCA camp programs.
Y Members must pay the camp fees in full at the time of registration. Please note, due to system settings, CampBrain is unable to process discounts at this time. In order to receive 10% off your registration fee, you must follow-up with an email to our camp office after registration at day.camps@ymcaottawa.ca.
When the camp office confirms you are an active member, the refund will be issued back to the card that was used to pay for the camps. The refund may take up to 10 business days to appear on your credit card statement.

Please note, the YMCA will be verifying your campers’ eligibility for the subsidy with the City of Ottawa. Should you child not be eligible for the City of Ottawa Child Care Subsidy, you will be solely responsible for the entirety of the camp fees.
Refunds
All refunds must be requested in writing by emailing day.camps@ymcaottawa.ca. Please include your camper’s name, your name, and the week they are unregistering for in your request. There are no refunds for children who are asked to leave the camp due to behavioural and/or safety issues. Please read our Camper Code of Conduct in the Preparing for Camp section of our website for more information regarding our camper expectations and bullying policy.

Transfers
Transfer requests must be made be in writing by emailing day.camps@ymcaottawa.ca. Please include your camper’s name, your name, and the weeks they are both unregistering for and transferring to in your request. All transfers must be completed 10 business days prior to the session start date, provided there is space in the program.
