Made for students in homeschooling or alternative education, these day camps pair at-home learning with the fun experiences gained at an outdoor camp.
Campers will participate in activities like fire building, orienteering, high ropes, climbing wall, boating, and nature exploration.
Much like our summer camp experience, children will have the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive in an outdoor environment while making new friends with children of the same age group. For every 15 participants, we ask that 1 adult volunteer be present for the entire experience.
Outdoor Adventure Fast Facts
- Outdoor Adventure is for children aged 6Y-12Y.
- All campers will be expected to be prepared for a full day of activities, for all weather, and with their own snacks and lunches packed.
- Cost per group of 15 participants and 1 adult volunteer is $450 plus HST.
- Request for dates can be made through the YMCA Outdoor Centre booking request form.
